Kirsten Dunst is obviously very interested in fashion, as she is often photographed wearing avant-garde pieces and is not afraid to take risks. I'll admit there has been more than one occasion where she has completely missed the mark. But more often than not, I find myself drawn to her style. Kirsten's choices are always interesting and usually bear an artistic edge. It's almost as if her clothes are another character with whom she can play around. Even in her everyday casual wear, she finds a way to turn something everyone else is wearing into her own. In the picture above, Kirsten's outfit reminds me of a much more chic 1940s house dress with an updated twist. I love the layering and contrasting of fabric patterns. It makes a very simple and comfortable dress, stylish and presentable. It is also the kind of dress you could wear casually during the day, and dress up for the evening by changing accessories and adding a pair of heels.

I think I might like this dress a bit better either without the colour, or without the sleeves. I think it's really cute, otherwise!
